Specifying pipe for 400,000 m² is a different exercise A single-family
retrofit and a national transport hub do not make the same demands on a pipe. In
one, a failure means a repair; in the other, it means closing a facility used by
millions. Here are three installations from our project record — and what they
have in common.
1. Beijing Fengtai High-Speed Railway Station — 300,000 metres in one
building Fengtai Station in Beijing's Fengtai District reopened in 2022 after
extensive reconstruction and is Asia's largest railway station: 32 platforms, 32
tracks, a footprint of over 400,000 m², and a solar-panel roof serving the
Beijing–Guangzhou and Beijing–Shanghai high-speed lines. For all of its floor
heating systems, the project specified PE-Xa pipe 25×2.3 mm with EVOH oxygen
barrier — a total of 300,000 metres. Why it matters: 300 kilometres of pipe is a
circuit that cannot be accessible everywhere. Every metre must resist oxygen
diffusion into the heating water, because oxygen ingress corrodes system
components downstream and quietly destroys the whole installation. That is
precisely what the EVOH barrier layer is for.
2. Beijing Workers' Stadium — performance under cycling Built for the 26th
World Table Tennis Championships held in April 1961, the Workers' Stadium in
Sanlitun, Chaoyang District, is the first stadium to appear on the stamps of the
People's Republic of China and seats 15,000 spectators. It has hosted thousands
of events. Why it matters: a venue like this runs in bursts — intense heating
load when in use, long idle periods between events. Pipe in such a system must
tolerate repeated thermal cycling without fatigue. The homogeneous molecular
structure of PE-Xa, produced by the Engel peroxide method, is exactly the
property that makes this cycling manageable.
3. Residential complex "Impulse", Nizhnevartovsk — the cold-climate test
Our reference project in Nizhnevartovsk, Mira Street, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous
District, uses a Ritable heating system throughout. Why it matters: cold-climate
residential towers are the harshest real-world test. The heating circuit never
fully rests between October and April, and the pipe must hold its rated
performance continuously for decades.

large project, confirm: (1) the barrier layer is genuine and continuous; (2) the
cross-linking method and its uniformity; (3) the connection system and its
tooling; (4) the manufacturer's batch and certification records. For the
