QINHUANGDAO, Hebei, China — 29 September 2026 — Hebei Ritai Original Pipe
Co., Ltd. has been granted WRAS Material Approval by Water Regulations Approval
Scheme Ltd. for its RTE-03 PERT EVOH pipe, confirming the material is suitable
for contact with wholesome water for domestic purposes.
The approval, number 260955017, was issued on 22 September 2026 and is
valid from September 2026 to September 2031. It covers the RTE-03 PERT EVOH pipe
— an extruded, multi-layer pipe with a colourless PERT inner layer, a colourless
EVOH middle layer and a red coloured PERT outer layer, for use with water up to
85°C.
The approval was granted following testing against BS6920-1:2014, the UK
standard for the suitability of non-metallic products in contact with water
intended for human consumption (test report RI0119/I), and the entry is listed
in the WRAS online Water Fittings Directory.
